 Agents are as important to us as the actual client, if we can't build a business relationship with you the Realtor, our name will not be thrown out there when that new buyer is seeking a qualified and reliable home inspector. 

Keeping our Realestate Agents comfortable in suggesting our company along with three or four others, we in fact carry the State Mandated Errors & Emissions Insurance Ryder. Along with that each and every contract written has the following language, to provide added protection for you our life line to customers.


hold-harmless clause in your pre-inspection agreement (between you and your client).  You should explain to all real estate agents that unlike indemnification insurance which only pays for the legal defense of a real estate agent who gets sued over one of your inspections, your hold-harmless clause is even better in that your client pre-agrees not to file suit against the agent at all.  

You as a Real estate agent is the sales person.  Having the client that you gave one of our cards or information to, as well as other qualified inspectors. Having the client agree not to hold a real estate agent responsible for anything related to your home inspection is proper. We understand  the concern of using a new inspector that many real estate agents are worried about negligent referral claims. We go a step ahead to EASE YOUR CONCERNS by letting YOU know WE use a hold-harmless clause which protects you.  

The following is a sample hold-harmless clause for you attorney's review:

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT: CLIENT agrees to hold any and all real estate agents involved in the purchase of the property to be inspected harmless and keep them exonerated from all loss, damage, liability or expense occasioned or claimed by reasons of acts or neglects of the INSPECTOR or his employees or visitors or of independent contractors engaged or paid by INSPECTOR for the purpose of inspecting the subject home.

We are old school, as taught by my father and grandfather, both successful business owner,/ operators. Do what ever you can to protect the hand that feeds you.!
